The tunes of KAYA float on melody and rhythm, synthesizing the rich lyrics. The Music of KAYA spreads the flavor of life, blending flute tunes with the strumming of guitars, rhythm of ‘Madol’ into the deep beats of the Drums. KAYA’s music is a magical amalgamation of Folk and Fusion - a unique quality that tells a tale of real life with a great listening pleasure.

The rich variance in the compositions of KAYA evolved from the Mother Nature, infusing nature and life into the world of music. The band offers a beam of songs composed of reality and dreams of life and set to touch down the hearts of mass and class, young and old.

KAYA’s unique and electrifying stage-shows engross and involve people, blow out the mind with packed energy, rhythm and excitements, creating an everlasting love in the hearts of the audience, beyond the few moments of the show. Their new era of music brings a fresh breeze in the mind - that reflects a blend of rhythm in life mixed with stings of satire, cruel inevitability of life and the soulful of love. The songs of KAYA are the songs of the people evolved from the soil which break the walls of castes and creeds and colors and bind the world with eternal love.

KAYA has already five successful albums to their credit- “Kaya” (2003), “Sha Na Na” (2004), “Dhuk Puk” (2005) - all released by Sagarika Music Company, "Hasnuhana" (2007), "Kaya Lok" (2008) - released by Asha Audio and "Baulia" (2009) - released by Purple Music. KAYA was bestowed the Best Band award from Zee Alpha Bangla, in the year 2005.

As a next step, for the first time in West Bengal, we are introducing some Hindi compositions under the Band JJosh, which will leverage the music of KAYA to reach a much larger audience.
